Description: Luca Comerio is perhaps the greatest documentary filmmaker in Italian silent cinema. War films have an important place within his immense production, in particular the ones dedicated to the Italo-Turkish war in 1912. Our war navy concentrates on sailors‘ daily life, on work, physical exercise, leisure moments, battle simulations. The video is a copy from the film print preserved in 1912 by the Museum: 35mm, positive, polyester, 212 metres, colour (Desmetcolor), Italian intertitles, silent.
